This was my first time here so of course I was skeptical and I'm used to taking my car to a different shop. I want to start by saying I will be coming to this shop from now on. I love how they do there invoices. They are very detailed and organized. Which is important because I want to know what I'm paying for. When they ran the diagnostic on my car they sent me this electronic inspection that tells me what they found wrong. I really like this feature because it gave me proof of what was going on with my car instead of verbally telling me. They also had no problem with giving me a ride home when I dropped my car off to them. Krissy gave superb customer service. She helped me when I was stressed with the grand total of the cost on my car and help me through the whole process of providing me with a price that was within my budget. She gave excellent recommendations and explained everything. This made me feel safe and I didn't feel like I was getting ripped off, which is a great feeling to have when you're trying out a automotive shop. I feel very secure with my decision of making this my new automotive shop when I need car maintenance. Thank you so much Krissy!

Well I could write a whole page about there lack of detail , There lack of being a pro!!.How they don't finish the work order.and how they just ASSUMED stuff works and check ok!!!but basically the 45 point inspections is not done professionally.or with any real testing.As I had multiple stuff that has not worked in a while yet they say they tested and marked ok.¿¿I was highly disappointed,I tried to discuss this with them and I got well that's free.!!!!!OK so since it's free it doesn't matter if its true!!!!! Wow and thats a professional shop they claim .for the money it's def not worth going to have something trouble shot.or anything that requires skill and good management. Go to the dealer .

I have been bringing both of my cars here for servicing for a number of years. They are located close to my job and also close to my home which is a bonus. They have wonderful customer service and have been quick to answer any questions that i may have had. My experiences have been professional and pleasent.

It is always a pleasure to walk into Sacramento Specialty Auto. This visit was no different from my usual experience -- an efficient analysis of the issue with my A/C system and much personal attention and service along the way. They make sure that I understand the issue and the plan for a fix. By early afternoon they had obtained and installed a required part and I was able to drive away most pleased. The special treat for me was the return of the shop dog "Dozer" after an absence of three years. He welcomed me as an old friend and literally made my day. Thanks to everyone at SSA.

I ended up taking my car here because I saw the great reviews and i’m new to the sacramento area. I wanted to find a good car repair place. My car was making some noises (probably the transmission) and they revised the entire car which was great. However, I took my car back on Friday (didn’t drive it at all saturday) and drove a few blocks on Sunday to get groceries. My car was heating up and was smoking from the hood. Turns out they either forgot to put the coolant cap on or didn’t tighten it enough. I had no coolant when I opened the hood of my car. Luckily for me I was going back home and had the chance to park my car before it can get worse.

So far so great! Just got it serviced yesterday. Smoother, minimal rattle/ sound and feels great. Sarah took care of me from the get go. I think they have a great value in their oil change, I have a Toyota Prius 2011 full synthetic, plus a 60+ point inspection diagnostic included when leaving the car there, 78 bucks out the door.Also got my air filters replaced which was long overdue, cabin and engine which were dirty due to the smoke and fires. Also completely & safely cleaned out the piping and inner tube system of the air circulatory system. Cost of filters, system clean plus labor was around $100.They got me in when everybody else was full, kept in touch, texted a full diagnostic report with photos. The more information, clarity and detail the better. We all know the classic crooked mechanic has screwed it up for everybody else that’s why honesty and service is so paramount in any industry, let alone the automotive. Do your due diligence, I’m glad I found this place!
