Great. This is great Subaru service place with very knowledgeable technicians. Owner Joe is honest and reliable. You can count on him to help you out whenever you have a problem with your Subaru. I highly recommend Alfa Subaru to any Subaru owner. You will be very pleased and satisfied with the service and repaire you receive.

Absolutely the best. Joe is fair, honest, trustworthy. I have taken my car here since day 1. Even with the warranty active I take here first and Joe will tell me if the repair is covered and to take it to the dealership. I would highly reccommend them. We take our Honda here too. He fixed our check engine light that had been on for a couple years that the dealership could not diagnose.

I have been coming to Alfas and Subarus since it was owned by Marcos and located at 17th and K. After Joe bought the business and moved to Sunbeam, my family and I brought our business with him. I have always been treated more than fairly by Joe and his staff. It didn't matter if it was my Legacy wagon or Honda Civic. I will continue to come to Joe every time the car needs servicing.

I'd suggest being a little cautious. Initial and routine jobs over the past 3 years were fine but the last 3 major jobs, each over $500, had go-backs and/or had to be redone by someone else. There may be a workmanship or quality control problem in the shop.

When I enter the world of car repairs I shudder. Not any longer. After reading the great reviews on Yelp, I took my car to Joe's Alfas and Subaru. He diagnosed the problem right away and gave me a price to fix a cracked head gasket. I got a 2nd opinion and found that Joe's price was not only fair, but below the going rate. The work was done on time and my car runs like a top!! I can't thank Joe and his crew enough for not only taking great care of my car, but giving me faith in the car repair business!! Thanks Joe!!

Joe and his staff do great work. they helped get my car fixed and on the road even though it seeemed as if the problem wasnt going to reveal itself in a timely manner. they were patient, found the problem and got me on my way. I've been going to Alpha Subaru for 5 years and they have always treated me fair and given me a good deal on quality work. thanks guys! -dan

Joe's Subaru is great! They repaired my torn axle boot in a couple of hours as scheduled and had me back on the road without breaking the bank. Very friendly staff. Waiting area is comfy. Best Subaru specialist in Sac area.

I had my car towed to Joe's Alfas Subaru when the alternator when out. I also needed the head gaskets replaced. Joe said that since they would be doing the labor for the head gaskets that would get to the alternator, they would just charge me for the part. Very nice! Also, although the work went a few days over estimation (they were waiting on the work of another shop), the price came out to be significantly below what was quoted.

I recently had my 2007 Forester serviced here. It was in need of the 105,000 mile service, plus some head gasket problems from a previous warranty "repair" at a Subaru dealer. The 105K service was about the same price as the dealer, but the list of things done and replaced was longer than the dealer's. I was happy about that because I had been researching some of the stuff that should be done at the same time (like seals, water pump, and a big list of others) and Joe had these items covered. It sounds like he really knows these engines and it was fun to talk to him about them. In the end, it wasn't a cheap service job, but a lot of things were done and I have a lot of confidence now that the car is going to last a while. I feel like I got more than my money's worth here. Being slightly North of Downtown Sac, the place is very easy to get to/from. Update: 15,000 miles later, everything is still perfect with the car; no leaks, extra noises, or smoke. Update: 30,000 miles later, still perfect. Thanks Joe. Update: 50,000 miles later, still running great. No leaks, bad noises, nothing, not even smoke. It runs like the day I bought it. I need to stop putting so many miles on this thing. Thanks Joe.
