I was referred to Sacramento Specialty Automotive by Costco for a headlight restoration. When I arrived for my appointment I was not kept waiting. They were prompt, precessional and very friendly. I didn't know what to expect when I first made the appointment with them, but I was pleasantly surprised. The facility was clean and organized with a nice comfortable waiting area. The work they performed was of high quality and I was very satisfied. I will be using them again for future automotive service needs. I would definitely recommend this shop.

Very satisifed. The work here is high quality, low cost, and ethical! They are a low-pressure, highly supportive shop. I always feel well cared for when I bring my vehicles in.

Reliable. I would say they offer top quality workmanship, guarantee their work and are honest! My sister referred me to them, she's the auto guru in our family!

I found this repair shop on Yelp. I wish I would have found them before I purchased the car! They are honest and went above and beyond my expectations. The shop was neat and tidy and the employees are knowledgable and empathetic. While they have not worked on my car yet they have earned my trust. It's hard to find an honest repair shop. I'm thankful for the Yelp review that led me to these folks. For anyone considering buying a used car I highly recommend having Sacramento Speciality Automotive evaluate the car and advise of any issues! They know what they are doing and do it with kindness.

Love this place! Have been taking my Subaru Forester here for quite some time and they're always very customer centered. They're honest and fair, and quick! Definitely recommend!

I am so thankful for Joe, Tanner, and the wholecrew at Specialty Automotive. They have faithfully advised me on the care and operation of three Subaru Outback Wagons (the cars are amazing, I *LOVE* Outback Wagons very dependable cars. People used to like to run into me and destroy my Outbacks. That's why I had three. Yet I digress...) Whether they were selling me a new Outback, going over one i brought in before i bought it from someone else, or maintaining a vehicle i already owned, I could always count on this crew of trusty mechanics to diagnose, prioritize, and repair my vehicles in accordance with my budget and any potentialy pressing needs for safety. I bring my classic Mustang here as well. I've been a loyal customer for 15 years and will continue to bring my vehicles here as long as I'm in Sacramento!

Very thorough. Knowledgeable about Subarus. And they really look out for you. And to top it off they have great prices.

Shameful... willful and deliberate price gouging of disabled humans beings. I spoke with "Will" at 4:58 pm on August 22, 2017 where I explained the entire situation and services necessary on my 1996 Subaru. "Will" then promised me a quote via return telephone call by 8:30 am, August 23, 2017. I received no call, so at 9:27 am, I called and spoke with "Will" again, This time I was given a price of $175.00 to remove and reinstall 3 pcs spark plugs and spark plug wires, I then asked "Will" about their schedule for said services. While I was waiting for a date and time, I stated to "Will" that $175.00 seemed a little steep to R&R 3 spark plugs and wires as 1 plug and wire had already been completed. I further stated that I had all of the materials. It was at this point in time that "Will" almost DOUBLED THE PRICE stating that they could not use my new preferred materials, they had to use their own plugs and wires and now the price would be $300.00 instead of $175.00??? I asked why the price almost doubled in 45 seconds and he said they could not use my materials. HOWEVER, I was already quoted $175.00 to use my materials. I could only assume at that point that I had somehow upset "Will" by stating I thought the $175.00 was a little steep for the services I was requesting and now I was being taught a lesson for doing so. Why the increase "Will"? Well now, ALL OF A SUDDEN they can not use my materials so the first quote was now null and void. I explained that as a disabled human being, I could not afford such a price increase of $100.00 per spark plug. So, I asked if he could recommend someone else. "Will" of course, knows of no other mechanics in America, so he could not make a recommendation. As a person who has owned 4 Subaru's, up until the point where I had become disabled, I had always performed all maintenance on my Subaru's. Any services which I could not handle, I actually took to this shop and the price was a little steep... but still doable. However, the methodology in which this situation was handled was wrong! This, I believe is a deliberate act of price gouging of a disabled human being. Such actions are illegal and I will be filing complaints with the ADA, BBB and complaints against their license and method of conducting business today. I am doing this for ALL DISABLED HUMAN BEINGS!

I work in a service department, so I'm a little nit-picky when it comes to the way I am treated in a customer service environment, especially when it comes to another service department. Speaking as a customer, as well as somebody who works in the industry, these guys are top notch when it comes to service. They are honest, the prices are more than fair, the staff is knowledgeable, courteous, and they meet every commitment they have ever made. I never mind spending the money with them, because I know it's only for things I need, not just some pointless up-sell. I appreciate their service to the point that I still go to them after moving 50 miles away. Nobody else will touch my car or my wife's car going forward, and that loyalty was gained through nothing but meeting the expectations they set, and providing above and beyond service to my vehicles and me as a customer. If you have a Subaru, do yourself a favor, and bring it to Sacramento Specialty Automotive.
